Path A — Full setup (MetaMask + Base + USDC)

Install MetaMask (browser extension or mobile app).
metamask.io/download · Desktop is easiest for first unlock.
Create or import a wallet and write down the seed phrase offline. Never paste it into lvlltd.com (we never ask).
Add / switch to Base network (chain id 8453).
In MetaMask: Networks → Add network → Base, or approve “Switch to Base” when our site prompts you.
Get a little ETH on Base for gas (not USDC). ERC-20 transfers need ~$0.01–$0.10 of ETH on Base.
Options: bridge.base.org · MetaMask Buy · Coinbase → withdraw ETH to Base.
Get USDC on Base (this pays the skill price).
Coinbase: Buy USDC → Send to your MetaMask address on Base (not Ethereum mainnet).
Or bridge USDC via bridge.base.org.

Common failures

Wrong network (Ethereum instead of Base) → switch network, don’t re-send on mainnet.
USDC on Ethereum or USDbC confusion → skill price is native USDC on Base (0x8335…2913).
No ETH for gas → buy/bridge a few dollars of ETH on Base first.
Paid but modal stuck → /recover/ with skill id + tx hash.
