Refund policy
On-chain USDC transfers are final at the protocol layer. This policy is the operator’s promise on top of that fact — not a chargeback button.
We refund (USDC back to the paying wallet)
- Payment confirmed on Base but sealed pack failed to unlock, and /recover/ cannot deliver the files.
- You were charged twice for the same skill id (duplicate settle). We refund the extra transfer.
- Wrong amount sent above the listed price with no unlock issued — we return the overage, minus Base gas we cannot recover.
- Operator error (wrong pack files shipped for that skill id).
We do not refund
- Buyer’s remorse after a successful unlock (you already have the sealed files; same tx re-downloads forever).
- Skill did not match a hoped-for outcome after you read the free outline. Outlines exist so you can refuse before paying.
- Gas spent on Base (ETH). We do not control the chain fee.
- Payments sent to the wrong address or the wrong chain.
- Open-market / escrow listings after confirmDelivery — those follow the escrow contract, not this page.
How to request
- Open /support/ or DM @OmgawdMadeit with the BaseScan link.
- Include skill id, tx hash, paying wallet.
- Decision within 3 business days after the tx is confirmed.
- Approved refunds go back in USDC on Base to the original paying address only.
Canary skill (agent-x402-first-buy, $0.05) is the intended first test. If the canary loop fails, we treat it as a rails defect and refund.
